Γεια σου Έντουαρντ,
Good question! They are interchangeable, yes. However, I use more "στο κινητό μου", similar to "on my phone".
Saying "από το κινητό μου" simply puts more emphasis on the source. It's like saying "I listen to music that comes out of my phone" or "I check the traffic information that I get from my phone". It sounds strange in English but in greek it's not wrong.

Γεια σoυ Στεφανία,
I noticed that to say "I listen to music on my phone" is:" Ακούω μουσική στο κινητό μου", but "I check the traffic on my phone" is: "Τσεκάρω την κίνηση από το κινητό μου." Are these interchangeable? Would it be correct also to say: "Ακούω μουσική από το κινητό μου." ?
Ευχαριστώ πολύ,

Hi Kati!
Glad to see another writing exercise!
Watch out for λεωφορείο with ει, not ι in the end as you write it in the corrected version.
I know that ι and ο sounds are giving you a hard time because when you hear them you don't know how to spell them correctly. With practice you will learn to remember how to spell words correctly.
Here's a tip:
Let's take, for example, the word ύπνος. In English it's written as "hypnos", we say "hypnosis", "hypnotic", "hypnotherapy" etc. and we use a "y", the equivalent of the greek υ. Once you can connect these two spellings in your mind, then English can actually help you with Greek. Also, a root word like ύπνος can help you spell correctly all the words that derive from it or use it as a compound. For example ύπνωση, υπνωτικός, υπνοθεραπεία. My point is that paying attention to the etymology of a word (specially compound words) can sometimes help your spelling skills a lot. In compound words, however, the point of union between two words might be slightly different when two vowels join, hence ύπνωση (ύπνο- + -ωση) with ω whereas υπνοθεραπεία uses ο (ύπνο- + θεραπεία). Just something to keep in mind.
Mind also for the spelling of τηλέφωνο and κινητό. They were misspelled on your correct versions. And since I mentioned those words, once you know that the -φωνο ending of τηλέφωνο uses ω and ο, then you can apply the same spelling to all devices that end in -φωνο (coming from φωνή, meaning "voice"). For example:
κασετόφωνο, μαγνητόφωνο, θυροτηλέφωνο, γραμμόφωνο, μικρόφωνο, μεγάφωνο, ραδιόφωνο, σαξόφωνο, ξυλόφωνο... or well as words such as υψίφωνος, καλλίφωνος, κακοφωνία, ελληνόφωνος, χαμηλόφωνα... and so many more!
Same with κίνηση and κινητό: ακίνητος, κινούμαι, αεικίνητος, κινητικός, ακινησία... etc. You have κι- or κινη- just like the English kine- in "kinetic".
Finally, as for the "I rush to catch the bus." I believe the error had been reported in the past and the sentence got fixed but not the audio. I'll look into it. Thank you for letting me know.
