Lesson Transcript

Let's look at the dialogue.
Imagine two strangers who are discussing about their language abilities.
When I read, I want you to pay attention to the word that represents a language.
Find what the language is and see how it is used in the dialogue.
Γεια σας, μιλάτε αγγλικά;
(Ya sas, miláte angliká?)
Hello, do you speak English?
Ναι, μιλάω αγγλικά.
(Ne, miláo angliká.)
Yes, I speak English.
Now let's look at the sentence pattern.
This pattern will be the structure that all of our dialogues will follow.
Ναι, μιλάω [LANGUAGE].

Now let's look at some other examples.
