Lesson Transcript

Do you know how to ask for the price in Greek?
You'll learn how in just a moment.
Hi, my name is Yulie, and this is Three Step Greek by GreekPod101.com.
In this lesson, you'll learn how to ask for the price through a quick conversation.
Let's look at the dialogue.
As you listen, pay attention to how they ask about the topic and how the other person responds.
Συγγνώμη, πόσο κοστίζει αυτός ο πίνακας; (Signómi, póso kostízi aftós o pínakas?)
Ποιος πίνακας; Αυτός; (Pios pínakas? Aftós?)
Ναι, αυτός εδώ. (Ne, aftós edó.)
Αυτός ο πίνακας κοστίζει 5.000 ευρώ. (Aftós o pínakas kostízi pénte hiliádes evró.)
Από πού είναι ο ζωγράφος; (Apó pú íne o zográfos?)
Είναι Γάλλος. (Íne Gállos.)
Let's hear it with the English translation.
Pay attention to the first sentence. It follows the key speaking pattern you'll learn later in this lesson.
