The free trial is useless. I can't seem to get any sense out of your website. I just get pestered to upgrade to premium.

Hi Byron,

There are many parting expressions in Greek. Καλή αντάμωση is one of them, however, it's not something used very often. I would probably hear it from older people.

The lesson focuses on a few but very common parting expressions to help you "survive" in a situation where you need to say bye in Greece.

Kind regards,

Stefania

Why leave out καλή αντάμωση (until we meet again)?

Hi Carlos,

Στο καλό, as a parting expression, actually means "(go) to the good" which doesn't make sense in English, but it's like sending off people to something good. It's a wish/command so that nothing bad to happen to the other person in the immediate future after parting.

All the best,

Stefania
