Hi Nick!

Καλό απόγευμα (kaló apóyevma, not kalí apóyevma), is used only when departing in the afternoon. Upon meeting someone the proper expression would be καλησπέρα or γεια (σου/σας) after 12pm and until nighttime.

If you have any more questions, let me know.

You may have already answered this in a previous response to some comments, but is "kali apoyevma" used when approaching someone, or only when departing?

Hi Priscilla,

Thank you for reporting the issue.

I have reviewed the quiz settings and I think there must have been an extra space in the vocabulary entry and perhaps that's why the result you were getting was wrong. I have tested it and it seems to be working fine.

Could you please try again making sure you use the correct punctuation and let me know if there are any issues again?

Thank you,

Stefania

I am not sure what the difference is in the answer that i am giving for good bye in the written quiz. I have taken the test several times and the quiz tells me that it is incorrect even though their answer matches mine exactly. Am i missing something>

Good bye Γεια σου
