Hi Susana!

Jumbo (that's how we write it actually) is an awesome store! There's an incredible variety of stuff there. Here's their website:

Maybe you can visit it next time you're in Greece!

Cheers,

Stefania

Γεια σου!

In my first neighborhood in Athens, there was a Γαλαξίας Σούπερ Μάρκετ. I used to do buy my groceries there. For skin care products I used to go to 'Hondos', of course! And for clothes, I usually visit the department store 'Attica'.

However, I never saw a Jumbo (how do you write it in greek? 'Τζυμπου'?) and I think Carrefour changed it's name to Μαρινόπουλους.

Hi Elisabeth,

I know what you mean! I do that as well! Especially because I like food and finding interesting ingredients and products for my palate.

There are hypermarkets in Greece actually, so next time you are there, ask where you could find a big one, like Carrefour.

Cheers!

O Σκλαβενίτης. It’s always interesting to visit supermarkets abroad. At southern Europe tourist destinations they are always small, so l would like to visit a big one ?
