Γεια σε όλους! Είμαι η Χρυσή Παπαδοπούλου. (Ya se ólus! Íme i Hrisí Papadopoulou.) |
Hi everyone! I'm Chrissi Papadopoulou. |
In this lesson, you'll learn how to talk about your family from a parent's perspective. |
This is Karen Lee and she's studying with her Greek teacher, Anna-Maria Aslanidou. |
The teacher notices a picture on Karen's computer and asks, |
"Is this your family?" |
Anna-Αυτή είναι η οικογένειά σας; (Aftí íne i ikoyéniá sas?) |
Listen to the conversation, and focus on the response. |
Ready? |
Anna-Αυτή είναι η οικογένειά σας; (Aftí íne i ikoyéniá sas?) |
Ναι. Αυτή είναι η οικογένειά μου: ο σύζυγός μου, ο γιος μου, η κόρη μου και εγώ. (Ne. Aftí íne i ikoyéniá mu: o sízigós mu, o yos mu, i kóri mu ke egó.) |
Once more with the English translation. |
Anna-Αυτή είναι η οικογένειά σας; (Aftí íne i ikoyéniá sas?) |
"Is this your family?" |
Ναι. Αυτή είναι η οικογένειά μου: ο σύζυγός μου, ο γιος μου, η κόρη μου και εγώ. (Ne. Aftí íne i ikoyéniá mu: o sízigós mu, o yos mu, i kóri mu ke egó.) |
"Yes. This is my family: my husband, my son, my daughter, and me." |
