Eric: Welcome to 3-Minute Greek Season 1, Lesson 7 - Do You Speak English? In this lesson, you’ll learn how to ask and answer the question "Do you speak English?" in Greek.

Eric: Here's the informal way to ask 'Do you speak English?' in Greek.
Chrissi: [Normal] Μιλάς αγγλικά; (Milás angliká?)
Eric: First is the verb meaning 'you speak'
Chrissi: [Normal] μιλάς [Slow] μιλάς (milás)
Eric: Last is the nominalized neuter adjective meaning 'English'
Chrissi: [Normal] αγγλικά [Slow] αγγλικά (angliká)
Eric: Note the rising intonation. Listen again to the informal question meaning 'Do you speak English?'
