Eric: Meaning - "Happy New Year, everyone!" Listen to a reading of the post and the comments that follow.

Chrissi: (SLOW) Καλή χρονιά σε όλους! (Kalí hroniá se ólus!) (Regular) Καλή χρονιά σε όλους! (Kalí hroniá se ólus!)
Eric: Let's break this down. First is an expression meaning "Happy New Year."
Chrissi: καλή χρονιά (kalí hroniá)
Eric: In Greek, when we want to wish "Happy New Year!" to someone, we just literally say "Good year!", or in Greek...
Chrissi: Καλή χρονιά!

Eric: Then comes the phrase - "to everyone."
Chrissi: σε όλους (se ólus)
Eric: This is a very common thing to say after a greeting, especially on social media because we refer to many people at the same time. Listen again- "to everyone" is...
Chrissi: (SLOW) σε όλους (se ólus) (REGULAR) σε όλους (se ólus)
