| Gabriella: A tsarouhi, or tsarouhia in the plural, is a type of pointy shoe with large woolen pompoms, which is typically known nowadays as part of the traditional uniform worn by the Greek Presidential guards known as Evzones. |

| Gabriella: The word "vraka" generally means the male Cretan costume, although it also refers to a special kind of baggy trousers similar to a pantaloon, which are worn by the inhabitants of islands in Greece, instead of a fustanella. The men's "vraka" costume is made of heavy wool felt to protect against the cold and is embroidered with black cord. On some islands, vraka pantaloons were worn by women too. |
