John: We all get tired from time to time, so you’ll definitely need to know these expressions.
SLANG EXPRESSIONS
John: The expressions you'll be learning in this lesson are:

Chrissi: είμαι κομμάτια (íme komátia)
Chrissi: τα παίζω (ta pézo)
Chrissi: τραβάω λούκι (traváo lúki)
John: Chrissi, what's our first expression?
Chrissi: δεν την παλεύω (den tin palévo)
John: literally meaning "can't fight her." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "cannot handle something."

John: Use this slang expression when you’re in a situation that’s unbearable. For example, when you’re having a really long day at work.

John: This literally means "to be pieces." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "to be exhausted,” or “to be drunk."

John: Use this slang expression when you feel tired and exhausted. For example, after studying for hours or staying up late. You can also use this slang expression when you’re heavily intoxicated.

John: literally meaning "to play them." As a slang expression, it means "to go crazy, to malfunction, to be tired, scared or surprised."

Chrissi: τραβάω λούκι (traváo lúki)
John: Which literally means "to pull downspout." As a slang expression, it means "to go through a tough time."
